What does it mean to say that the Kingdom of God is "right now, but not yet"?
To say that the Kingdom of God is "right now, but not yet" means that Jesus always gave all of himself to God. By "selling all that we have", but not literally, we can fully find ourselves in the presence of God's reign.
When a "student" of the Hebrew scriptures does not understand some of the hebrew words beneath the english it is very easy to miss what it is that is actualy being said. the Term Kingdom of G-d being "near" you is one example, the word for "near:"(kar'ov) is the same word used for ..and the prophet (Is 8:3) drew "near"(kar'ov) his wife and she concieved...so how near is the Kingdom...go study Hebrew and be blessed!
